Thrive Through Perimenopause

Perimenopause can feel like your body and mind have been taken over by a stranger. Anxiety, rage, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood — and a healthcare system that often dismisses or underestimates what you're going through. Thrive Through Perimenopause is a free, community-based peer support programme offering three ways to connect, learn and feel less alone — whatever your situation.

Three ways to get support
The Gathering — in person in Margate
Monthly evening sessions at CloudZen in central Margate. A structured but relaxed space combining peer sharing, themed workshop content and guided journaling.
Second Wednesday of each month · 6:30–8:30pm · CloudZen, Margate

Rest & Chat — online via Zoom
Monthly online peer support for women who can't make it in person — whether due to caring responsibilities, transport, social anxiety or simply living in a more rural part of Thanet. Opens with a short guided meditation then moves into open peer chat.
Third Thursday of each month · 7–8pm · Free Zoom link (camera always optional)
Wix tip: once the Zoom link is set up you can add a register button here. Until then use the AWeber sign-up.
Walk & Talk — outdoors across Thanet's coast
A gentle 60-minute walk followed by informal chat. Rotating locations across Thanet's coastline including Margate seafront, Botany Bay, Ramsgate harbour and Pegwell Bay. The lowest-barrier way to join — no commitment, no jargon, just a walk.
First Saturday of each month · 10am–11:30am
Wix tip: add the specific meeting point for each month's walk once confirmed. A simple list or small calendar works well here.
Who is this for?
Anyone experiencing perimenopause or menopause aged 18+ living in Thanet. No referral needed. No diagnosis needed. All three strands are completely free.

How we support inclusivity
All three strands are free. CloudZen is fully accessible. Walk & Talk routes are chosen for accessibility where possible but please get in touch if you have specific concerns. Language support is available — please get in touch if you need support accessing sessions in a language other than English.
